Many things grow in the garden that were never sown there. ~Thomas Fuller, Gnomologia, 1732
Even though the winds were icy, I took a stroll through the garden. I picked up all the "things" winter had planted. The branches, the Shoprite ads and whatever else decided to take up residence. I uncovered a bounty of blooms. The crocus' were in full bloom as well as my mom's star flowers. Some of the perennials have started to wake up from their winter's nap. Spring is fast approaching.
